Department of Anatomy at the College of Medicine and Dentistry at the Hills is dedicated to understanding the intricate structures of the human body through comprehensive education and cutting-edge research. We offer a detailed curriculum that covers gross anatomy, histology, embryology, and neuroanatomy. Our state-of-the-art laboratories and dissection facilities provide students with hands-on experience essential for mastering anatomical knowledge, which is fundamental for all medical and dental professionals.

Mission
In alignment with the mission of the College of Medicine & Dentistry at the Hills, the Department of Anatomy is committed to delivering high-quality education in the anatomical sciences to both medical and dental students. The Department will conduct foundational research and cultivate an intellectual environment that promotes curiosity and inquiry. It will also fulfill its service responsibilities to the College.

Services
Teaching:
The faculty will maintain expertise and deliver instruction in Human Anatomy within the integrated modular system for first- and second-year MBBS students, as well as for MPhil scholars. Their responsibilities include didactic teaching, laboratory training, development and review of learning resources, curriculum evaluation, small-group facilitation, and other duties essential to curriculum implementation.
The Human Anatomy curriculum will cover basic and clinical anatomy along with introductory diagnostic imaging. Faculty will provide direction, challenge, and guidance to help students understand the human body and its tissues—both conceptually and through cadaveric and microscopic study.
Anatomy within the medical curriculum encompasses a broad range of sub-disciplines, including practical and clinical gross anatomy, neuroanatomy, embryology, histology, and general anatomy. These are integrated across the first and second-year modules of the College of Medicine & Dentistry at the Hills:

Research:
The faculty support national and international initiatives aimed at advancing medical and basic science knowledge that ultimately contributes to the health and well-being of humanity. Service:
