Department of Medical Education
The DME serves as the central academic engine of the college, driving curriculum innovation, faculty development, and educational quality assurance. Its dynamic and collaborative role encompasses the entire medical program. The DME provides direct support through dedicated Basic Sciences Coordination Teams for Years 1-2 and Clinical Coordination Teams for Years 3-5, ensuring seamless vertical and horizontal integration. Furthermore, it provides essential secretariat and expert guidance to the central Curriculum Committee and the Program Evaluation Committee, translating educational policy into effective practice and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
DME is led by its Director, a Senior Assistant Professor who also serves as the Controller of Examinations, ensuring unified academic leadership. The department faculty includes an Assistant Professor and two Demonstrators. Administrative support is provided by a dedicated computer operator.
